Sunset Series

“Rayleigh”

I started this series out of nowhere. As I sat outside and watched the sun go down I knew I needed to paint the sunset. I don’t live on the beach, but close. I wanted to capture the beautiful skies and how it reflects on the water.

Nature is one of the greatest gifts we have. We all have the ability to look up and see the sky. On the worst of days I find myself always watching the sunset. It reminds me that today is ending. Tomorrow will come. Every day is what you make it and I’ve been choosing to end my days with paintings that remind me of how I see my days end. The beautiful sunsets I’ve been so lucky to see.
